50 Bible Verses About Enemies

Bible verses about enemies.

Having enemies is an inevitable part of life. Not everyone you meet is going to like you or be your friend, and that is okay.  But where does the enmity start or come about? Enmity is a result of jealousy, differences in opinion, and behavior but sometimes it’s hard to pinpoint the exact reason. The fact that each person was created unique means that you cannot see eye to eye with everyone. But how are we to treat our enemies?

Bible verses about enemies.
Bible verse from the book of Exodus 14:14.

The bible is rich with stories of people who had enemies and it shows us how they persevered in the phase of enmity. In these Bible verses about enemies, we see that Jesus had many enemies. The Pharesees for example felt threatened at every turn. They sought to continuously discredit him and harm him. Despite their malice and ill will, Jesus responded with love, forgiveness, and unwavering commitment to his mission, ultimately sacrificing himself on the cross for the redemption of humanity.

The story of Queen Esther is another example of strength when dealing with enemies who seek to cause harm and of God’s vengeance on enemies who plot evil.
