In the Bible, Jesus teaches us about the power of listening through his narration of the parable of the sower. In the parable, Jesus compares the different types of soil to how different people listen and respond to the word of God.

Like the good soil in the parable of the sower, we are all called to open our ears and hearts to listen to God’s word in order to experience spiritual growth.
